CTVV: AARP MAKES LEGISLATIVE ADVANCES

CT seniors and their families are fortunate to have a support system to represent them through the well-established national AARP profile and the strong local voice of the AARP CT organization.

Susan Regan, host of CT Valley Views recently visited with Claudio Gualtieri, Associate State Director for Advocacy and Jean Caron, an AARP volunteer and Advocacy Leader to bring CT residents up to date on the Public Policy Institute studies, research and legislative information on AARP 2015 priorities.

This interview is a not-to-be-missed segment packed with information that will be of benefit to all CT residents as it addresses not only the new proposals to benefit 50+ recipients, but even more importantly a guide and roadmap for the caregivers through the myriad of unpaid responsibilities and medical challenges facing them when caring for a loved one.

Be sure to visit the AARP website: www.aarp.org with further detail on all of their programs and membership information.
