This year marks the 11th anniversary of an event that started as “Soccer Under the Lights,” where the boys and girls soccer teams played evening games under a bank of noisy rental lights. The Homecoming event has evolved into a weekend celebration that includes a school pep rally and a multitude of athletic contests. The GMHS Athletic Booster Club, along with the GMHS Football Booster Club, will be on hand to sell a variety of food, drinks and snack items. Additionally, the Booster Clubs provide event programs featuring photos of all of our Granby Bears’ teams!

The GMHS Athletic Booster Club is an organization of parents and community members dedicated to supporting, encouraging and advancing the Granby Memorial High School Athletic Program. With funds raised through various fundraising events and generous community support, the club has donated or assisted with funding the High School Concession Stand, a defibrillator, the high school/middle school information sign, scoreboards, a golf cart for the trainer, weight lifting equipment and most recently, track pole vault mats that helped the high school host their first NCCC state track meet this past spring.

If you would like to make a donation to the GMHS Athletic Booster Club, or if your business or family would like to advertise in the 2015 Homecoming Weekend event program, please contact Ann Marie Grashaw (amgrashaw@yahoo.com) or Deb Ranicar (ranicar@sbcglobal.net) for additional information.

Thank you for your support. Go Bears!
